Core Beliefs

You probably expected something deep and theological and something like a list of "church doctrines." Why spend so much time getting caught up and debating church doctrines and issues that are not the core message and what will change someone's life forever?  Imagine spending all of that time that you debate non essential issues, introducing someone to the love of Jesus Christ?

Well here it is my core belief system..  I believe everything that the Bible teaches word for word.

What everything in Scripture boils down to are the absolute truths and key essentials. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and to God our Father. He is the only One that can make my wrongs right and my mistakes fade away.

The Word of God has transformed my life and has given me a HOPE and LOVE for others that I have never experienced before. This is not a religion I am talking about but a relationship with Jesus Christ. Some people find that hard to wrap your head around... how can you have a relationship with the Son of God who is no longer in person here on this earth??

I love the study of world religions. In college, I took a course on looking at a variety of world religions that people follow today. Some of them have inspiration and the focus on a higher power. But I only found one that isn't about man's effort to strive to be good enough, or to keep a bunch of rules in order to obtain or receive blessing or to be forgiven. I only found one that is about a loving Creator that rose back from the grave and is alive and loves you just the way you are, not by anything you can do. This one is Jesus Christ. No matter who you are or what you have done, Christ loves you unconditionally.

In our world today, people need something REAL. Not someone teaching another "doctrine" of what they believe, not singing empty words that they don't understand, not having someone tell them a list of what to do and not do, but an encounter with the Creator of the universe and a real touch from Jesus Christ. He will always have His arms open to you. All you need to do is and have faith in Him. Why wait for tomorrow? For tomorrow may never come...
